About a year back, @launchpadmcfuck​ and I played around with an quack pack based idea that tied in heavily with magic and the Della plot from DT17, and I did some designs for it! An au where the duck family is full of magic and instead of moving into the manor della comes back and they get they move into a house quack pack style~! Was it partly an excuse for character design? shhhhhh dont worry abt that… The AU is really cool and still very close to my heart! Everyones got a bit o magic, wahoo

These are all over a year old! I think they still hold up, right?

The cave is, in retrospect, one of the most boring places they’ve ever been. which is to say, by normal ducks standards, not very boring at all- but spending you pre-teens trapezing through El Dorado or hiking across ancient ruins in the amazon can sorta put a damper on what would normally be a pretty exciting adventure in spelunking. Donald and Della, however, weren’t normal, and were ultimately unimpressed.

Della picks up a rock, examines it half heartedly, before tossing it aside, “Uncle Scrooge, when’s this gonna get fun?” She complains, poking at her Uncle’s side.

“Yeah, my feet hurt.” Donald adds, dragging his boots to emphasize his point.

“We’re only just now getting to the bottom! Don’t tell me you’re already going soft?”
