He gave his boyfriend the reins after Willie practically begged him to let them plan a surprise date and now, Alex is convinced he’ll never let Willie do this again.  The only information he got was to dress warm, and to show up at Willie’s apartment with his car at a certain time.  That’s it.  Now he’s driving through town, following his boyfriend’s directions and trying not to wonder and speculate too much about where they’re leading him.

or: Alex lets Willie plan a winter date and Willie chooses ice skating

A Willex Young Royals AU

 “I will be enrolling at Hillerska Boarding School.  Nobody is more disappointed in me than my family, and especially myself,” he continues, feeling his mother’s gaze on him.  The mic pinned to his collar catches every word, every breath, every hesitation.  He gulps, lifting his chin ever-so-slightly, trying to keep his mask from breaking.  “This past year has been difficult for me,” Alex continues, fighting to keep his voice steady even though this is the last thing he ever wanted.  “There has been added pressure as I assume my official duties as prince.   Because of this, I have acted irresponsibly.  I apologise for this, and assure you that it will not happen again.”

Note: There will be a major character death in this fic as I am following the Young Royals plot.  I will include a warning at the top of the chapter in which the death occurs.

Willie remembers the warnings.  Humans are selfish.  Do your job; focus only on your one singular human and protect them.  The life of a guardian angel has one purpose and one purpose only.  Don’t become too attached.  Willie broke that last rule.  They grew too attached to their human.  To Alex.

Or: Willie is Alex's guardian angel but gets stripped of his wings when he gets too involved.  Since Alex is all he knows, he goes searching for him... except he's too late.

“baking cookies”

A Captain Swan Holiday fic for @cocohook38 as part of @cssecretsanta2020

“I still don’t understand why we can’t simply go to the store and buy a package of cookies,” he comments, the lilt to his accent like music to Emma’s ears.  “It would save us a whole lot of trouble, and we’d have time for other things.”  The way he cocks his head to the side somehow makes him even more attractive than he normally is, or maybe it’s the glass of wine she’s already consumed thus far this evening.

or: Emma and Killian try to make cookies for Granny's holiday party... "try" being the key word.
