The hum of voices and clatter of dishes were beginning to blur into a dull roar in Morgan's ears as he sat at the booth, pretending to skim the menu. He had been craving Mexican for days and he had finally decided to come by to get it, but damn it... This headache had been creeping up all day and now it was beginning to really roar. The letters on the menu doubled, swam, spiraled, his vision tunneling until the world seemed to woosh around him.
He blinked rapidly, trying to chase away the fog but the dizziness hit hard and sudden and he was pretty sure he was riding a rollercoaster. Morgan set the menu down carefully, both hands gripping the edge of the table. His stomach rolled and he was pretty sure he was pretty afraid he was going to throw up.
He shifted in the booth, moving toward the edge and rising to stand up. So much for Mexican. Maybe tomorrow... or maybe he would see if someone would deliver. As he took a step toward the door though, he swayed and staggered, shoulder slamming into the wall.
