Where: Rockos Diner @turtlebay-starters
The open sign hummed against the quiet. The red light spilling through the diner's big front windows. Midnight was Beau's favorite time to work. There was no rush, the chatter faded, and it just seemed like a more personal time. Only normally stragglers or regulars. Trucks, night owls, kids who should've been home hours ago. The radio could be heard so he could hum a bit as he worked.
He slid a rag across the counter, looking up when he heard the bell over the door chime. He smiled softly, dropping the rag into the wash bucket before grabbing the coffee pot and heading over to the booth where the person settled in.
"Evening," he said in a low voice, nodding toward the coffee up. "Would you like some coffee, or is there something else I can get you?"
