M.Eddie comes up to his beefs like. "have you tried Not Being Poor?" god he's so. himself. Edgar is such a flawed person I love talking about the parts of him you can't excuse or romanticize. I love talking about how he thinks he's smarter than everyone and how he wants to be wealthy again and how he talks down to people he puts in The Child Zone because "papa knows best" and how he thinks he's entitled to things because of how much he's sacrificed without anybody even asking him to do it. I love shining a light on him as the stubborn and sometimes snobbish individual he is because he's never JUST Jack's victim. he's never JUST Eli's victim. he's never JUST soft ghost dad 24/7. he has wrinkles and bumps and things he hates about himself that he tries to hide that are genuinely unpleasant and god I love writing for him so fucking much
