The key fits into the lock just as she knew it would. Weariness starts to set in now, and she feels her limbs getting heavy before she even pushes the door open. It’s not her apartment, but it’s the same feeling of home when she walks into the place, tugging her short heels off of stocking-ed feet, letting the door shut behind her.
“You home?” Her overnight luggage is left near her discarded shoes, and Mijoo walks further in, head poking through the rooms to try and find the other woman. “Don’t be scared, it’s just me.” Bangs falling over her eyes, she’s happy when she finds Lily, looking comfortable and a little surprised. “Our flight landed a little early, and the whole crew hauled ass to get everyone out as fast as possible.”
Hands working at the tied knot near the base of her throat, she starts to undo the little accessories of her stewardess uniform. The tie comes undone, but stay draped around her shoulders, and Mijoo points at Lily’s lap. “Can I sit here?” One side of her lip quirks upwards.
