Mark Mpowerment Changing the Lives of New Hampshire Girls
MARK GIRLS MPowering Local Girls Hello Mark Girls of New Hampshire and Happy New Year. I hope you had a wonderful Holiday Season. I am MarkGirlFranky MIT and I am looking to help you have an enriching experience with MARK by becoming involved with the MARK Mpowerment program. I need your help as MARK GIRLS to help fundraise for local girls/women who have been victimized by date violence. I am looking to set up a Not-for-profit organization and a Fashion Show Fundraiser in the state of NEW HAMPSHIRE to help these women out, but I cannot do it without your help. This MARK fundraising fashion show will be 100% organized by MARK GIRLS. This is the initiative I want to take in order to make being a MARK GIRL mean something more to you. MARK is more than just selling make-up and fashion. MARK is a philanthropically motivated organization out to make a positive change in today’s young women. I am doing this because the Mpowerment Cause is one of the main reasons for me signing up to be with MARK. Mpowerment is a cause that really matters to me and several of you as 1 in 4 women, according to a 2008 New Hampshire Coalition against domestic and sexual violence study, in New Hampshire have been sexually assaulted and 83% of these assaults occurred before they were 25. I am confident that sharing what you are passionate about cosmetics, fashion, and most importantly helping other girls/women to be mpowered will want you to join me in organizing this Fashion event. 100% of the proceeds will go to the New Hampshire MARK Mpowerment nonprofit organization that I am looking to start with you as well. It is unfortunate that in this day and age these statistics are this high. Not only are 41% of the 1-4 women in New Hampshire assaulted before their 18th birthday but 68% of the 1-20 boys have also been assaulted before their 18th birthday.* This is just of reported incidents, with the wake of the Penn State cover-up these statistics are probably low across the country. We have to take a stand against these predators and we can do this best by bringing awareness to the forefront of everyone’s lives in New Hampshire and accross America by being visible and vocal. I would further like to set up awareness programs for local elementary, high school, and universities to show the impact that date violence has on our community as a whole and for people to take proper action when they see wrong doings going on. This is going to be a lot of dedicated volunteer work; I hope to get many of you MARK GIRLS on board with creating this amazing event for a worthwhile cause. Thank you and God bless. I recommend that MARK GIRLS in other states work to do the same. Please respond with your interest in where you want to participate to: [email protected] Frank J.
