Hello, to all of my followers, yeah I know I currently have none but if you build it they will come. So I am building my Blog on becoming MarkGirlFranky. I joined MARK on October 5th 2010. I was first a buyer of the product through my Generous and Energetic Mark Loving Mentor Gail and I really don't remember how I first bumped into her online but it was one of the best things to happen to me in a long time. I have always been one that believes in network marketing and MLM networks as Corporate is the real Pyramid Scheme where you have to wait your turn for some one to die or get fired in order to make more money or get into a higher position that never pays you what you are worth and over pays those that are at the top like CEOs and CFOs. It totally sucks the life out of you and no matter what you do it is never enough and you do not get rewarded. Ok, so I have tried many other MLMs and network marketing companies and I have failed miserably for the most part, I had little success here and there but nothing to be happy about. My first attempt was a huge failure that I will never forget and it was a great learning experience. I responded to an ad in the paper and ended up signing up with Market America when I first got out of college and maxed out my credit cards. I bought thousands of dollars worth of product right of the bat, which I do not recommend, and went through Hell trying to get my purchases refunded because I was unable to sell what I bought. I was cocky and felt this would be easy but I kept getting shut down from my family and friends. The NOs took a toll on me. I was scared, broke, and really had no support. I eventually did get my money back after talking with corporate day in and day out, persistence pays. If I had that persistence to do the job, I may have succeeded this time, but I was afraid and again I didnt have support from my team I joined or my family which draqgged me down and I quit. Yes I quit on myself. I did this a few more times both with MLMs and corporate jobs. I actually was offered a job in the treasury department of a fleet company after finding them a $1MM error and was only offered $19,000 a year, I left the company that morning insulted, jobless, and depressed. I moved from corporate job to corporate job while trying this MLM and that MLM never to have any success until I came accross a company called Petra Fashions. I finally was having success with a MLM. What is Petra Fashions you ask, it is a lingerie at home Party Consultant business. I loved it and was having success and at the time I was Melissa Marie, I recently just decided to go by Franky. Anyway, I had a lot of success with Petra and part of the reason why was because I enjoyed and loved what I was doing. I was selling and wearing lingerie to my clients in their homes and I was with several women who enjoyed doing the same thing who accpeted me for me and it was fun. I actually met my best friend from doing Petra and made several other friends too. I had enthusiasm for the business, I wore and shared the products and I even won a gold Bra for having a $500+ party. The downfall, I let NO get to me again, I had several parties lined up and kept on getting calls where they would be cancelled because their husband or boyfriends were not comfortable with me doing their parties, my confidence was shot again and I yup again Quit on myself!!!! Again I went from MLM to MLM and I again found some success with another company called Synergy Worldwide. I met a MLM guru, JJ, who had enthusiasm for the company and product and he always told me that I had something special about me. He is a multimillionaire from doing MLMs and was a friend to me too. I listened to him and made more friends and networked ok. He told me that if I stayed with it for a year I would have success. I did last a year and had the enthusiasm invited people to our weekly meetings and never missed a beat. I never got 1 person to sign up with me and I really wasnt using the products. It was just not a fit for me, I was not into health and wellness products so I again quit but for better reasons. I did feel I accomplished a lot by sticking it out for a year or so and I stayed that long because I was learning and having fun, but the product wasn't me. I tried a couple more MLMs and then I found MARK on October 5th 2011 because I met a great GIRL, Gail, my current mentor. Like I said earlier, not sure how I first found her online but I did and it was a match. I wasn't really planning on doing anything in the MLM and had settled into my MA postion in a Urology office. I was content. I had just graduated from college for the third time and found a job that I liked and wasn't really looking for anything. However, I was buying Mark product and eventually decided to become a Mark Rep because it only cost $20 to join and I was going to get 30% off product I was already using, it was a no brainer. So I signed up and Gail sent me some great free product to help me get started in selling and was always there to answer my questions and tell me she was excited and happy to have a Mark Boy on her team. As time went on, I was getting more and more excited about the company and started sharing it with my sisters and friends and then I became a MARK junkie. I loved everything from the clothes and jewelry to the make-up, body fragrances, and Curl Goddess Hair line. Prior to using the Goddess line I would be called Carrot Top and what not because my hair would be all over the place and frizzy. Curl Goddess has changed that and now I am complimented on my hair everywhere I go from both men and women. Women always tell me I must hate my hair and I always correct them and tell them no way, how could I everyone loves it. I also am a huge fan of Mpowerment because it helps Girls out that have been in abusive relationships and I really want to expand this aspect of the company as to me not enough is being done and united we can do so much more with Mpowerment. Anyway, as I grew to love the product, I grew to love the company and I had a burning desire to get to NY NY for the Dream Trip that was being offered to every MARK GIRL. I kept telling myself I had to be there, so I went and I sold as much product as I could, We had to sell $3,000 in 3 months to win the trip. I had 3 really great customers and some small sales here and there. I ended up winning the trip to NY and my life has been changed since. In NY is when I really knew I was a MARK GIRL and where MARKGIRLFRANKY really came alive. I was overwhelmed by all the GIRLS their and the way MARK Corporate treated us all like Beauty Queens including me. I was blown away by the reception and their acceptance of me and from that week on I have been sold that MARK is where I want to be and where I have to be. I was sold both on the corporate leadership and the MARK GIRLS and MENTORS that I met and I will do anything for them and I am sure they will do it for me too. On 11/11/11 this year I was offered and accepted a position as a MARK GIRL MENTOR IN TRAINING. I was honored and became teary eyed after I hung up with Gail. I love MARK CORPORATE too as they love my ideas and are putting them into action starting today, 11/30/11, with the first National MARK Holiday Party.
