END OF JULY
I was laying in bed going through my comments and DM’s everyone was asking about why I was in finland with Kappy and why I wasn’t wearing my ring anymore. I rolled over and saw Kappy was still sleeping. I smiled at his messy hair and decided to make an announcement.

I posted the pictures and got up to shower because Kappy said he wanted to have a “family” day which usually consisted of him, Parker and I walking around town just spending some quality time together. By the time I was out of the shower Kappy and Parker were already awake. Kappy was shirtless but had on a pair of shorts and he was getting Parker dressed.
“I just have to get dressed and I’ll be ready” I said walking into the closet. I walked out in jean shorts and a crop top. I was getting Parkers diaper bag ready when Kappy walked into the bedroom.
“The guys are asking about your insta post. Apparently Auston is mad that you posted it.”
“Well, people were asking. And they deserved to know. But if you want me to delete it I will” I said looking up to meet his gaze. He bent down and attached his lips to my own.
“I love you and I’m not trying to hide you. Keep the post up” he said grabbing the bag and Parker up off of the bed.
We had been walking around and shopping at the small shops all day. It was almost dinner time and Parker was getting fussy. “Hey, let’s stop here and then we can go get dinner. Kappy said walking towards the store. The store said that strollers weren’t allowed in so he walked to the front to grab Parker.
“I need to grab my wallet from the bottom can you hold him?” he asked handing Parker to me. I felt something poking against my shoulder and when I looked Parker was holding a ring. I looked back to Kappy and he was already on one knee. “Hazy, I know we haven’t been together for long, but we work. We are such a good team and I couldn’t do it without you. I love you so so much and I want to spend the rest my life knowing you and Parker are by my side. So Hazy, will you marry me?” There was tears falling down my cheeks and I struggled to answer.
“Oh.. my god. Of course” I smiled as Kappy stood up and took the ring out of Parkers grasp and slid it on my ring finger. He pulled me into a kiss and I could taste the tears on my lips. “I love you Kappy”
“I love you too Hazy”

TIME SKIP MID SEPTEMBER
Kappy, Parker and I were back in Toronto and were loving it. The wedding was next week and we were almost done with everything. Kappy and I decided on not having a big wedding and planned it fast. Tonight was Kappy and I’s bachelorette and Bachelor parties and I was hoping Kappy wouldn’t ask who was watching Parker. Ema was in town and hadn’t seen Parker in months. I was supposed to being Parker over to Austons apartment so her and Brian could watch him. Kappy and Auston were on good terms but Kappy was always super protective with Parker. I was packing Parkers overnight bag when Kappy walked into the bedroom.
“So who’s watching him” he asked. I groaned to myself and turned around to face him.
“Okay well. Ema and Brian are taking him tonight and I’m supposed to pick him up tomorrow morning” I said looking at him trying to gauge his reaction from his facial expressions.
“Why are they taking him?”
“Because they miss him, Kas” I muttered as I stood up and pulled him in for a hug. “They were there for his birth they’re essentially his grandparents”
“Fine” Kappy muttered into my neck.
“I love you” I said pulling away so I could kiss him.
“I love you too”
I had dropped Parker off and was on my way to Steph and Mitch’s apartment where my party was supposed to start. As soon as I walked in I was smothered in hugs and a white “Bride to be” sash was covering my shoulders.
We had been bar hopping all night and were finally on our way back to Steph and Mitch’s. When we walked in all the lights were off except one. I looked into the kitchen and saw Auston sitting at the counter. This was the first time I had seen him since he left for Arizona. I felt my heart swell when I looked at him but I knew it shouldn’t. All the girls walked in behind me but when they saw who I was looking at they all retreated to the guest rooms and bathroom to give us some privacy.
“What are you doing here, Auston?” I muttered opening a bottle of water I had grabbed from the fridge. My hands were shaking and I didn’t know why. “Aren’t you supposed to be at Kappy’s party? You’re one of the groomsmen” I said looking up at him. The dull light coming from above the stove glowed from behind him. It was just bright enough for me to see that he had been growing out his facial hair. And his hair was longer it was curling out above his ears, I’m assuming from wearing his helmet and hats.
“I couldn’t let you get married without telling you this. I know we ended on bad terms and I know you weren’t cheating on me. But I miss you and Parker. Our apartment is empty. I miss hearing you and Parker giggling in the living room when you let me sleep in. I miss waking up to you in my arms and having to push your hair out of the way to see your face. I love you with all my heart and seeing you with him is crushing me but I want you and Parker to be happy and if that means you with Kappy I won’t say anything ever again” there were tears falling down my cheeks at a rate I couldn’t control.
“Auston, you’re too late. I love Kappy and him and Parker are great. I can’t just up and leave”
“Tell me you want to marry him and I’ll never say anything about this again”
“I’m pregnant Auston” I felt more tears fall from my eyes. I hadn’t told anyone yet.
“But why were you drinking?”
“I wasn’t I was drinking soda all night” I said trying to wipe all the tears away.
“That still doesn’t answer my question, Hazy. Do you want to marry him?”
“Yes Auston I want to marry him” I breathed looking down at the ground so I wouldn’t have to look at his eyes.
“Okay, good luck” He said leaning down to kiss my head. He walked towards the door not looking back. He opened the door and walked out. I felt the tears start again as I walked towards Stephs room. I slipped out of my white outfit and into a pair of shorts and one of Mitch’s shirts and laid beside Steph.
“What did he want?” she whispered rolling onto her side. I took a deep breath trying to decide if I wanted to tell her the truth or not.
“He just wanted to know how P was doing” I said with a laugh trying to pull off the lie.
“Oh… well, are you ready to get married next week?” she slurred.
“I can’t wait”
