I agree but I think the reason Brendan is so OOC in some sense is because they changed when Lynsey was going to die and Brendan wasn’t the evil landlord for months on end like originally planned, as Later was what was meant to ‘fix’ Brendan.

Oh absolutely, but I think I would have still found him OOC in some scenes even if they hadn't changed the plans. They just went overboard with the "dark stuff" and I found it pretty ridiculous. Especially the first two eps.

Just to let you know, it wasn't Justin that Ste almost took advantage of that girl with, they didn't know each other back then. They were in different years at school too. His name was Wayne Tunnicliffe. He was a vile piece of shit as far as I remember.
