Apparently Casper’s flysheet is torn because when she went down, Maximus tried to grab her with his teeth and pull her up by the flysheet... what a good boy. 😢
Tbh I was not sure what I was going to do with him. I don't think I'm skilled enough to train him. It scares me that he still throws me off. When Cas started to decline, I knew I was going to be really sad for a while. I considered selling him and getting away from horses for a while. But hearing how he cared about Casper in her final moments sealed the deal: he's a keeper. 💙 I’m going to figure out how to train him, or maybe just keep him as a backyard riding horse and “watchdog”.
