okay hear me out. After Brazil, FIA found out some teams were using a titanium plank that expanded with heat, so they could go lower (more performance) and reduce plank wear. Teams could no longer use them for the next gps.
If McLaren is one of these teams, that means that the plank wear was due to not being able to use the titanium plank and not doing the new calculations right with a regular plank, being quite optimistic with the heights of the car, hence the disqualification. SO, this means that the next gps McLaren will need to make the car higher, so that means less performance , so that maybe means Max WDC (let me dream)
