He wasn’t a drug addict, that much he could tell you for sure; Sean didn’t even smoke that much, but when deadlines were on his mind for his ‘paying job’ and his dream job was slowed because of rent and bills, the edge he felt was obvious. Just to take the edge off, he called up his contact for his “ Anxiety meds” and was out the door, his coat and scar barely keeping him warm during the bus ride to the dinner. Of course Sean wasn’t that paranoid, but sitting alone in a diner with a diet coke, constantly checking his phone for texts and looking out the window made him look like a junkie waiting for his dealer in his mind. fiddling with a packet of sugar, he resolved to split if Mars didn’t show up in the next ten minutes, hearing the bell above the door ring and looking up to see the black clad giant making his way. “ What the hell, man? You took for freaking ever.” He greeted Mars, taking a glance around the place before looking back to him. “ You sure this was the best place to meet? That waitress has been giving me the side eye since I walked in. I haven’t been stared at that way since my landlord back in Chinatown realized I was Korean.” He joked half heartedly.
