“This is a safe event. Trust me we have tons of Aurors here to protect you, ma’am. Nothing is going to happen so go enjoy the game,” she said gently, a hand guiding the elder woman out towards the stadium. This wasn’t the first person to voice their concerns to Piper but she had been told over and over again to make sure others feel safe. And the event was to a degree. They had complete oversight of the venue and camping grounds but that didn’t mean the danger wasn’t lurking inside. Which meant each Auror had to be on high alert.
Her eyes were trained to spot trouble, moving to area to area, so focused on her own mission to not see the person approaching. “Shit,” she said, practically jumping at the other who greeted her and made a face. “You could warn a girl.”
