A cub.
A lion cub, by the looks of it — left to rot on the hotgrounds of the area. As buzzards descended down to peck at the poorly animal, she focused in and crouched, creeping forward pawstep by pawstep.
She spotted quickly the slow rise and fall of the cub's sides, faint though the movement was. He was alive.
Despite a festering inner monologue that protested just otherwise, her paws worked faster than her mind ever could. He was alive now, but he wouldn't be for long if he was not rescued from the deadly heat beating down on the cracked earth. She bounded forward with a mighty growl, and a clawed paw swiped at bird after bird. The she-leopard bared her fangs as the pestering featherbrains fled for the skies easily enough.
Slowly, she bent down to sniff the cub.
Then, she was plucking him up, gripping his scruff carefully between her teeth before pulling him along — back to the shade of the jungle. To the coolness of the watering hole.

Too close. They were too close, and she was ready to give an earful all about it, if not disembowel right there on the spot. Tail lashing, fur bristling, and long fangs bared, the leopard roared, swiping a massive paw,
"GEEEETTTTTT OUUUUUT!"

Sabor would date Zira and they would be very girlboss together. Change my mind.

She had never gotten along with other leopards.
While some of her kind could hold a sort of tolerance to some degree or another, Sabor was hostile to nearly everyone, and that much was clear. Being introduced quite recently, she stalked the edge of the enclosure, pelt bristling in aggravation.
She whirled around just as she was approached at a distance, her tone scathing and furious,
"What do YOU want?!"
