It wouldn't have been much of a surprise if Peggy had announced her arrival, but since the last time she had been to his home, she had made sure to crack a window for this very reason. Climbing through the window on the morning of his birthday without raising the suspicions of his neighbours was one thing, cooking up a storm and decorating the downstairs was another but she had managed to do it without waking him. She hoped he didn't see this as her overstepping, but she wouldn't be completely honest with herself if she didn't at least acknowledge the fact that she had grown rather close with him since they became work neighbours and Peggy found joy in his friendship. Once the spread was done and everything was set up, Peggy prepared his breakfast (and hers) set them on a tray and went up to his bedroom to wake him. "I hear a birthday boy tried to get away with not telling me he was a birthday boy BUT, your sister's a snitch." She giggled.

"COME ON, JAMES," Janet lamented, tugging on the soldier's hand. She wore a bright grin as the walked down the New York street. "We're going to be late and I've been dying to see this production since I heard about it in France." She gave her fellow hero a flirtatious wink before strutting down the road with poise and grace of a socialite. "It'll be great. Trust me." @maavel gets a starter from Janet!

"Oh, right." Loosen his grip, he could actually feel the heat creeping up his cheeks. He hadn't expected the other to pick him up and fly them off to their next location. His first reaction had been to hold on tight, but now that they were on the ground he probably didn't need to. At least Thor had been kind enough to point it out before they met up with the others. The last thing he needed was one of the others to point it out or worse for them to remind him constantly of what had happened. He hadn't forgotten Stark and Romanoff reminding him of his use of swear words. Steve had tried to point out they swore all the time during the war, but they brushed him off. He definitely didn't want something like that to happen again and for a moment he thought about taking a step away from Thor. "Sorry. Guess I forgot we were back on solid ground."
"TRUST ME, CAP," the pixie said with a flourish. "I can handle it. I'm tougher than I look." Janet knew her wasp size often lead people to worry. Which was understandable. A simple cup or glass jar could capture Janet when she was that small. But Hank and Tony had been working on ways around such simple obstacles.
"I'll hang on to your shield while you throw it. Saves me the trip," she laughed. @maavel gets a starter from Janet!
incoming transmission from: @maavel message sent: First step in heroism, don’t be a prick. ( sam )
"Normally, I'd say you were right." No one wanted to deal with someone like that. Especially when they were supposed to be helping people. Unfortunately, he'd seen it time and time again where people thought that being a hero meant they could act any way they wanted. Instead, they learned the hard way that the public would tend to hate someone who tended to act like a prick. And in turn that reflected poorly on all of them. There was one person, though, who could get away with that and while he hated to think about it, Steve knew Stark could act any damn way he wanted and the public would still love him. It was his damn charm and personality that allowed him to get away with it all. And now, he was going to have to admit that to Sam. "But all we have to do is look at Stark. No one else would be able to get away with the sorts of things he did."
she’s a 10 but keeps doing RDLs right in front of Bucky and now there’s a hole in the gym floor from the time Bucky’s brain said “touch gf booty” while attempting a military press
"so this just means more RDLs in front of you so you can get used to them, right? i had no idea my ' booty ' was such a distraction."
