Happy first day of May! Summer is near, The April showers are gonna soon bring those May flowers, and it’s officially the start of the Month of May-bel! Like Stanuary, this month is dedicated to Mabel. And as we know, Mabel has had a pretty tumultuous relationship with the fandom, and I feel that it’s time we show our favourite pig and sweater loving girl that we do care.
I tried doing this in the past on GF Amino, but that community is so unorganized and small, that it didn’t work as well as I had hoped. I also didn't host it well. And, seeing that no one else is doing it, I’ve taken it upon myself to host the Month of May-bel 2020! With that, I’ve come up with my own themes for the 4 week period that this will go for.
Week 1 is about bonding. Show Mabel bonding with a character of your choice.
Week 2 is about adventure. Show Mabel in adventure mode.
Week 3 is about food. I think that’s pretty self explanatory, lmao. Finally, for week 4, inspired by how the original Mabel Pines Appreciation Week from 2015 ended, it’s your pick. Show Mabel how ever you choose. You can make fanart, write a story, cosplay, DIY, make an edit, etc. Whatever you choose, be sure to follow the theme of that week and the rules, stay SFW, and of course, have fun. Be sure to tag your post with #MonthOfMaybel2020 so that others can see it (and optionally, tag me too). You can make as many contributions a week as you please. This is not a contest, it’s all for fun, so do the best you can.
