its mac's birthday on the 27 !! so to celebrate im posting a mac drawing everyday this week !! today i mostly just wanted to share a bunch of drawings, some finished some not <3

this one specifically is the oldest drawing i still have saved to my ipad! while not officially mac or my hss mc in general, mac comes from this girl i've been drawing for YEARS. a girl in all white with super blonde hair, sometimes with extra colors in it but usually all white. not sure what really drew me to the all white design choice but i still think its really fun ^^ NOV 17, 2023

Setting: Summer after season three Spoilers: 3.20, “The Bitch is Back” Chapters: 1 Word Count: 1, 363 Status: Complete Summary: She doesn't believe in love, not anymore. There's not much she does believe in these days, to be honest.  Notes: There are five things that Mac believes and each belief is chosen to highlight a different facet of who she is and who she is becoming. This fic ends with a beautiful parallel -- it starts with her belief that color isn't necessary, and it ends with her questioning that assertion. This is officially "Dick Week" -- and he definitely plays a big part of that final moment.

Sacrifice Theory Author: FallAway Pairing: Mac/Dick, Mac/Cassidy, Veronica/Logan (not the focus of this fic) Rating: T Genre: Humor, Romance Setting: Summer after S1, AU Spoilers: 1.22, "Leave it to Beaver" Chapters: 10 Word Count: 21, 621 Status: Complete Summary: Mac and Madison weren’t switched at birth and life as a 09er is about to take on a whole new meaning. Takes place the summer after season one. The story elements featuring Veronica, Logan, and Duncan are canon, and most of the Mac, Dick, and Cassidy elements are too. With the aforementioned exception. Notes: On the Mac/Dick front, this is a great reminder that Dick is shallow but he's not an idiot. Dick's more abrasive qualities are eliminated in this fic, making his character on the whole much more palatable. Cassidy is the sweet, kind of dorky kid we meet in the first season, and we get to see a slowly evolving relationship with Mac. And Veronica and Logan, while background in this fic, are just lovely. Fun to see them as the drama free high school couple for a change.

This Christmas holiday? This is the Christmas holiday from hell. Using the prompt, "Sweetie, your issues are showing." Notes: A little angsty. A little shippy. But a lot of good fic happening. Mac comes back to Neptune for Christmas and sees Lauren Sinclair at a department store, who has a request for her. Veronica, Logan, and in his own way, Dick, all manage to rally around her and offer her the advice she needs to handle a circumstance she never thought she'd have to deal with. It's ultimately about family -- whether family is something you're born into, something you choose, or some mix of the two.
