At the end of April 2011, Phi Sigma Pi held its annual Alumni Banquet, basically a semi-formal dance honoring our chapter's prior graduates. It was my first year as an...alumna? Alumnus? I can never remember the singular feminine.
Anyway, to call it a "banquet" is actually a little misleading, because we've figured out over the years that serving an entire meal to that many people is like paying for a small wedding. So, a bunch of us got together for dinner at the Macaroni Grille beforehand. Here's Rob, with his salad and some bubble letters that I wrote.
I was kind of nervous afterwards, as the only other time I'd had Macaroni Grille, I got a little sick. But the food poisoning gods smiled down upon me this night, and we were ripe for a night of fraternizing.
It was so much fun seeing so many of my old classmates, particularly my old best pal Chels and her beau Jonathan, who live in Kansas City now. And I'm so glad to finally have a normal picture of Rob. Fun fact: I was declined eligibility for a Macy's card when buying that dress...apparently they expect you to be making more that $13,000 a year in order to ever shop there (poor waitress woes).
