A comforting and flavorful pasta dish inspired by the classic cheeseburger, featuring tender macaroni coated in a creamy Swiss cheese sauce with savory ground beef, onions, and mushrooms.
Ingredients: 1 lb elbow macaroni. 1 lb ground beef. 1 onion, diced. 8 oz mushrooms, sliced. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 2 cups beef broth. 1 cup milk. 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese. Salt and pepper to taste. Chopped parsley for garnish.
Instructions: Follow the directions on the package to cook the elbow macaroni until it is al dente. Remove the water and set it aside. Warm the ground beef in a big pan over medium-high heat until it's fully cooked. Get rid of extra fat. Dice the onion and saut it in the pan until it turns clear. Then add the mushrooms and garlic and mix them in. Keep cooking until the mushrooms are soft. Add the milk and beef broth and stir to mix. Bring to a low boil. Put the cooked macaroni in the pan and mix it with the sauce. Add shredded Swiss cheese and mix it in until it melts and the sauce gets creamy. Add pepper and salt to taste. Serve hot with chopped parsley on top.
