Chicago's own MacArthur Foundation has announced the winners of its 2019 Fellowships, the so-called "genius grants" awarded to artists, scholars and creative thinkers to support their work. Lynda Barry is a former Chicagoan. Urban designer Emmanuel Pratt lives and works in Chicago.
