I've been thinking about my Cuphead AU again. I'm also thinking that everyone knew that Mac and Cuphead were dating before Cuphead did.

Like he never realized he could like someone until he asked Mugman if he felt nervous or if his knees felt weak whenever he was with his best friend and Mugman just liked at him all confused.

Mac is one of Cuphead's favorite people. That fact alone makes Cuphead embarrassed to say. Being venerable and opening up isn't the easiest thing for Cuphead, but he makes sure the people that he loves know how much he cares about them. In his own way.

Mac is perfectly aware of how much he loves Cuphead. He's known that he's loved him since the second grade and always thought that Cuphead knew too but he didn't.

They hold hands and kiss but Cuphead never figured out they have been going steady for almost half thier lives until Mac told him. He and Mac are just sitting under a tree together one afternoon and Cuphead turns to Mac and asks him "are we in love?" Or "are we dating?" And Mac doesn't even turn to him or stop what he's doing and just goes "we sure are!" So happily.

It takes Cuphead a second to process and he just ends up with the biggest smile on his face. "Oh....neat!" He says.

Mac is very lovey when him and Cuphead are alone, and is very affectionate overall

Cuphead just kinda goes limp and accepts being snuggled

They don't share cloths often, and Mac hardly ever wears anything of Cuphead's. However Cuphead will steal Mac's green coat from time to time

Mac has only ever called Cuphead by a pet name a few times. The last time, he called him "honey suckle" was in a public place and Cuphead hated it, Mac never did it again

I see both Cuphead and Mac as people that like to keep to themselves most of the time and do they're own thing.

But Mac is kinda lonely though, he hasn't really had anyone that wanted to hang out with him since he was little. Everyone thought he was weird and awkward

Mac gives Cuphead praise A LOT he always had since they were little. He was Cuphead's biggest fan. And still kinda is

With Cuphead, I feel like he isn't used to giving regular commitments or praise so I think that he would show affection to Mac through actions. Like having lunch with him, or walking home with him, and when no one's looking, a hug or a kiss on the cheek and such

Mac HATES bugs, especially worms and beatles and Cuphead always kills them

In fact, that's how Cuphead stole Mac's heart in the first place. In preschool, Cuphead smashed a spider in front of Mac and that was it for him
