Hilarie here! There were a few makeup releases that I was super-excited about in 2020 (the other I will cover this weekend!). I like @maccosmetics a lot, but......most recent releases (recent meaning past few years) have NOT been exciting. Then, I saw the promos for their Loud and Clear collection. Included are lippies (both lipstick and glosses), eye shadows, blushes and two highlighters. The eye shadows and the Glow Play Blushes grabbed my attention immediately! I went to our local MAC yesterday and received a demo and a bit more information 👇🏻 • • • 🌸 the blushes have a creamy and bouncy texture. They can be worn sheer or built up. Best to apply with a flat brush (push it into the skin) or, with finger, then use a sponge to blend. These are the standout pieces in the collection (IMO). Colors remind me of spring! I bought No Shame (pink) and So Natural. These blushes are permanent (per our store) and retail for $30 🌺 eye shadows ($18) are very earth-toned and lovely. Best applied with a primer. I bought Back to Surreality and Omega. The later has been the most popular color in Asia. To me, it has a green shift. BTS appeared warmer in pan, but very neutral on my complexion. I do not have dupes first this and can wear them with several other shadows that I own. These, per our store, are LE. Tempted to buy a few more pieces (a lipstick and more blushes!). Thus collection is online, in-store and @nordstrom Not sure where else (yet). Did anyone else grab anything?! • • • #theskinstudy #maccosmetics #macglowplay #macglowplayblush #macloudandclear #spring2020 #phillyblogger #beautybloggers (at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) https://www.instagram.com/p/B8RP3rDnsnk/?igshid=1600ask19kcbb
