HELP WANTED - Ice Cap
A puff of warm breath coiled into the dark air, flakes of light snow slowly whirling around the Guardian's head. Violet gaze eyed the very peak of the mountain before him, that of which blocked half of the moon behind it. It was a chilly evening on the entire island, which only made Ice Cap look that much more dreadful. This wasn't any fun time to go for a climb- it would only get colder and snowier the further up they scaled- but he had said he would meet his alternate here to take care of the beast, and that was what they would do.
He wasn't sure where the monster was now, though he'd thought he'd caught sight of a large glinting something up high earlier that evening, when the sun had just begun to set. Now, though, the night was still and calm. Knuckles crossed his arms and lifted his scarf over his nose, exhaling softly, momentarily warming his snout with his breath. This would be a dangerous fight, not only because of the machine lurking, but also the incredibly cold temperatures they would soon have to face. His hope was that they would be able to get this job over with quickly, before either of them suffered frostbite.
Though he was starting to wonder if he'd freeze just waiting for the other echidna to arrive. Gloved hands rubbed together anxiously and Knuckles shifted on his feet, head lowered as a breeze ruffled his spines and made his fur stand on end. Where was that lousy doppelganger when you needed him...
