I am truly impressed by the way the author wrote about Sans having the knowledge of the time coming back to a certain moment(the resets), and knowing that kinda of breaks him inside. Sans cares a lot for his friends and Papyrus, but it's difficult to care about anything you do when you know everything will come back to zero again. One of the main points in the game is that Sans just knows Frisk is doing the resets because he is insanely good at reading people. Sans doesn't have enough HOPE to get the same deja vu the rest has, and with the scientific information he has, i think if he had enough HOPE he would be able to remember all of the resets, but he doesn't have it sadly. I've never seen someone approaching him like that in a fanfic, using this concept, most of the times Sans just straight out remembers the resets. So the ability of the author to write this concept and so smoothly? GLORIOUS. And that also ties up with how believable Sans mix of empathy and apathy got in the fic(also it's confusing but during this whole thing i refer to both the mc and the sans with the skellie house). He lost the care about what he does, but that doesn’t mean he lost the care for the people he loves. I know the whole point of a fanfic is going rabid with concepts and writing the character the way you want, and if you want to be completely out of canon it's ok too, I do that. But i've never seen someone approach that part of Sans in such a believable way and being a lovable character with issues and flaws that make him feel so real!! We're only in the third chapter of course, things may change, and i don't care if they change i'm all on board with this fic. But i can say that everything that happened from the first chapter up to the current one, i'm impressed and i love this fic!!
