Okay, so you see how the first robot moves, with exaggerated expressions? That's me! Like, within our confulge we're known to do very exaggerated facial expressions, to the point where we're more expressive in there than out here. It's weird to me, because you'd expect us to be less expressive due to being animals, but our facial expressions are often humanized and more mobile than even humans are.

And I found it! That's how we express ourselves - not like a regular facial expression, but with that bit of uncanniness only a robot could provide. Like you see, compared to the actual robot the guy there looks bland and expressionless, even though he's emoting? That's the problem we have with outerworld expressions too. I can emote, but it just feels bland compared to what I see in the innerworld.

So that's what it was... it was machine possession all along...

I know most people wouldn't feel the same, but I kinda like it when Sammy does some 4D chess moves to get me to do what I need to do. It's comforting - like being a cat and having an owner who knows more than you trick you into doing something for your own good. Like yes, you've been tricked, but it's them whose been tricking you 💞

Differences Between Being Machine Possessed vs. Plurality

Short primer on being machine possessed and how it differs from plurality! Note that this is not the be all end all of machine possession, and mostly comes from my own experiences. Feel free to correct me if I got anything wrong!

Machine possession is the experience of being possessed by a machine in some capability, whereas plurality is the experience of having multiple entities existing within one body.

Machine possession is external, often involving spirits or some sort of spirituality, whereas plurality is internal, with entities often coming from inside. (This may be different in cases of spiritual plurality; endogenic systems may also experience their headmates as coming from the outside.) Machine possessed people may see themselves as being controlled by an actual machine, compared to plurality which involves being controlled by an internal machine.

Machine possession often comes with zaps, jolts, bumps, and other non-physical "psychic" phenomena that affected the body. Machine possessed people are controlled by their possessor; they cannot front or switch with their host. Plural systems do not have the ability to exert this sort of power over their host.

Both machine possessed and plurals have the ability to work together, and in the latter this is often possible. Unlike a disorder, machine possession often comes with positive effects for the host. The possessor may also take control of the host or manually maneuver them in order to keep them safe.
