Not many people can claim that they do 'Vintage CNC' work, but we seem to specialize in it these days.
Our Douglas project took a little help from Samuel Lovegrove of Revival UK and we shipped the cracked crankcase to be repaired and machined there. As one might imagine it isn't exactly easy to find a replacement engine for a machine that is 1 of 6, so repairing what we have was our only choice. We're confident that the new bearing casing will hold MUCH better than the somewhat shattered cast case ever could have. Either way it was an interesting challenge.
Starting to really get the CNC prototyping and manufacturing down.....less than 60 seconds! .....ok so it's time-lapsed, but it happens faster than one might think!
