I bought this 8/4 10’ walnut board on August 28th to make a machinist type tool chest. It’s a copy of one from the 1940-50s. I’m finishing the drawers today. Then it’s some sanding and finishing, then finally hardware. Here’s a good idea of what it’s going to look like. Working with wood is very rewarding to me. Projects end, you lean and move to the next project. I think I will be making a series of this theme. I will be selling this on Etsy once is done. It has been a great deal of fun. No blood so far! Z.
