Wait a minute, could "trish" be considered a nickname for Beatriz? I understand it's generally used for the name Patricia, but if you really think about it, you can see the connection, which could indicate two things: either I'm delirious and losing my mind, or the DMC1 team is completely insane when it comes to referencing Divine Comedy.

Or was this just very obvious and I was the only one in this fandom who hadn't figured it out?

I don't know if this is a weird take or anything but I think Dante and Trish is incestuous. Not because she looks like his mom. Lots of people have mommy issues and dare look alikes. It's weird and I wouldn't do it but there's something else.

Vision of V implied that Trish was ripped out of Nelo's broken memories. That would make her a part of Vergil, Dante's brother.

But that's my two cents.
