Nail the Inca Trail to the grand Machu Picchu!
Being a world renowned spot, reaching Machu Pichhu any day, hands down, is one of the best travel experiences. Hang on! its no easy climb involving a hike through the engaging Peruvian forests with no showers, electricity or toilets; not even WiFi. But, thatś the whole point- to get lost in natureś own brilliance.
Its a 4 day long trek along the ancient Inca Trail (33km). Today, thousands from all over the world tread this path that was once laid by the Incas. Taking 3 high passes enroute, the trekking trail winds up, down and around the mountains to finally reach the the Unesco World Heritage Site.
Scroll down the few neccessary tips and satisfyingly conquer the trail:
National Park entrances are limited. Book in advance!
Don forget to acclamatize prior to trekking! Your about to 4200m above the sea level.
Pack light; dont overload!
Pack for all seasons. Be ready to eaxperience varying temperatures.
Amplify the exercise regime
Invest well on hiking boots.
Choose the right travel buddy
✌️Bien Venidos #MachuPichhu #lifeofadventureng #Peru (at Machu Picchu)
The bear was quite friendly and stuck around for about 10 minutes. Then climbed into a nook near the temple and climbed up into a tree several meters away. #southamerica #machupichhu #andeanbear #peruvian #nature🍃 #mountainlife
My entire write up on #machupichhu is up on the site! If you're travelling to Peru to see it trust me and read the post as there is only one good way to view it and none of the travel companies point you in the right direction.
