Distribute the coffee grounds evenly into the portafilter basket. Tamp the grounds with consistent pressure to ensure an even extraction. Insert the portafilter into the espresso machine group head. Start the extraction, aiming for a 25-30 second shot. Monitor the espresso flow and adjust grind size if needed. Once the desired volume is reached, stop the extraction.
