#TBT to Invisible by @hunterhayes !! Another one of my fav music video jobs. I played someone saying goodbye to a friend at a ghost bike. It was during a time of deep mourning in my own life—over a really special pet I had grown up with who lost her battle against cancer, and of my “old life” as I was adjusting to my new normal of illness and disability. You found it better to keep you and Race a secret. It came with its troubles, such as the multitude of girls that threw themselves at him, but you knew Race. He was one great boyfriend to you...even if other people didn’t know that.

It was the your favorite part of the day, sneaking around at school to meet Race to sneak in some kissing and PDA, though there was no one around to make it “PDA”. You even had a specific place to meet that nobody even knew was in the school. You had to make sure nobody was around-that was the whole point of the secret relationship.

The two of you usually kept it mutual in public, be friendly, acknowledging the others presence, but acting as if there was no interest in the other. You were in the same group of friends, and you hung out a lot with others, which meant sneaking away from the group to be together. It usually meant meeting up in a car until the rest left, or a closet sometimes. Anywhere really to get some affection from your Race. Somehow, nobody had caught on to the two of you.

You were walking in the hall, Race very close to passing you. Your group of friends all walked with him and they all waved at you.

“Come on Race, you’re seriously not dating (Y/N)? You have no interest in that girl? You guys are so close and you’d be pretty great together.” Romeo said.

“Nah, we’re just friends, Romeo. Can’t see the girl like that.”

When you hung out with him and your friends, you usually received comments like this, but the both of you denied it, acting as if you saw the other as “just a friend”, but nobody seemed to see the looks and smirks you exchanged when you responded.

As Race continued to pass you, he turned around and looked you up and down, biting his lip, than looking at you. None of his friends noticed the quick wink, a signal to meet at your “rendezvous”.

“I...love...you…(Y/N).” He said each word in between pecking your lips.

“I love you too Racetrack.” You planted a passionate kiss on his lips and he wrapped his arms around you, your hands in his hair.

You continued to kiss as the door creaked open.

“Hey Race, we’re all here….” Albert’s voice drowned out as you and Race parted and saw your group of friends jaws drop.

So at Hunters premier

He asked me how life was and I was like "Im not gonna lie" and LEGIT COULDNT TALK and I ended up going "you know what I mean" and he looked me in the eyes with that puppy dog look and goes "I know- youve...youve seen it all. Ill be praying for you" and that night I literally lost it and balled at my air bnb and was an emotional mess. Those things mean more than he'll ever realizs honestly
