oh that's cool to have your own fansession! is it just something you do within your group, or do you have it posted on the fansite, too??

I can't really pinpoint a time where I started writing fanfiction, to be honest. I had always kind of dabbled in writing as a general kind of thing (I really started in 8th grade).

but somehow I discovered ff.net and thought it was pretty cool and jumped from original writing to fanfiction writing in 9th grade! but I really liked the feedback I could get from writing like that, so I kept going with it. even though it was really really REALLY shitty writing, wow, it was bad. but I stuck with it, and I've been writing fanfics for almost six years now :O
