When I was younger I used to think that every time you blinked you would take a "picture" with your eyes and that's what would flash before your eyes when you died. I'd always take "pictures" of the pretty sunrise from my bus in the morning or my friends and family. I also believed that when you got to heaven you could view these pictures whenever you wanted, like you had them in a box or something. idk
