People Sam might open up to or otherwise consult for advice: Bea (Sam and Bea, BFFs imho) Mac (poor Mac though seeing his super chill unwavering rock buddy fall apart in front of him :( ) Luna (buried under teddy bears, send help) Goris (help me understand stuff you’re wise as hell and I trust you a lot) Georgia (do robots dream of electric angst) Joshua (this could go all kinds of places, most of which likely bad and Sam gets all ultraviolence stab happy on some poor damn zion invaders to the point any survivors spin it into some campfire horror story of THE BEAST OF ZION)

Sam puts on a carefree front but he’s honestly not exactly doing well, and hasn’t for a while.  Emma’s stuff is still in their home, sometimes he’ll catch her scent and if he’s especially bad off, can hear or see her in a crowd.  But he won’t move because “What if she comes back and I’m not here?” And her stuff really isn’t in the way, it’s just out.  Reminding him of what used to be.

If anybody asked, chances are he’d tell them he’s fine as can be and all is well. People he might open up to a little more however: Georgia, Luna, and Mac.

♥: Small way to show your muse they care.

He’ll always ask Rory how he’s doing and if he needs anything firstly. He’s a materialistic based person because he knows for him getting much needed things can make him happy for a small amount of time. He has been raised to think this way. THIS isn’t to say he’d be showering Rory in stupid things he’d want to make sure that if he needed anything to get him by that he had a means of getting it if he couldn’t elsewhere for any reason. He knows there’s something up but he doesn’t know what or how to help so he tries in other little ways. He’ll ALWAYS at LEAST once daily throw a text message Rory’s way most of the time talking shit in order to try and make Rory smile/laugh. It isn’t  I WANT TO LOOK AFTER YOU I WANT YOU TO FEEL LIKE I’M DOING A GOOD JOB AS A FRIEND LOOK AT ME he just knows that when he’s got someone good around that he tries hard to make them feel like he cares about them. It’s difficult for him cause we all know he’s an asshole but he’ll attempt the good stuff with the good people.

He likes hearing Rory laugh cause when Rory laughs he laughs and I feel it becomes a contagious line of laughter and giggles. 

♛: Pet name for your muse

He isn’t so much a pet name sorta person but he’ll have certain little names for those he cares about. More often than not he’ll not speak them in English following his mothers suit of speaking only terms of endearment in Mandarin it makes it feel a little more unique and personal so he believes. Huǒbàn is his favourite to use even if Rory thinks he’s sneezing each time. And of course there are those times when their sanity has left the room and they’re calling each other dear and darling. But that’s just that. 

★: First thing that changes when they realize they care about your muse

WHEN he first realised that he’d made a solid friend with Rory he tried a lot to ease up on the playful ‘assholery’ (a defence for him a lot of the time around new people or people who he knows but cannot  really get to know for whatever reasons) for fear of it being misconstrued and taken for offence of course he can still be a douche but he wouldn’t be himself if he wasn’t but with Rory he tries to take a leaf out of the others book and be a little more compassionate daily. So the first thing because I seem to be digressing that changed would have been hints of his behaviour to try and express to Rory that he does respect him and care a great deal it doesn’t always come into effect but he really does try to be aware of it as much as he can. He isn’t the bad guy that a lot of people think and he certainly doesn’t want that reflected on the people he cares about greatly. 

☾: What my muse says to yours when they think they're asleep

“I wanna’ be able to help you better like how you’ve helped me even if you ‘aint sure you have. But I know shit ‘aint my business. You have a really sad look in your eyes and that ‘aint fair to someone so nice as you...also you’re dribbling on my cushion.” but it was okay as long as Rory was getting some rest into those tired eyes.
