6. Something that grosses your OC out?

He doesn’t like gravy. On anything. Ever. The end.

20. What is your OC’s happy place?

His flat. It was the first place he really got away from his dad, and where he didn’t have to worry about anything while he and Rabastan were together.

19. Your OC’s most prized possession?

A iron brooch that belonged to his mother. Adorned with a small dragon, it’s one of the few things he still has of hers. Though he mostly holds resentment towards her, he does remember her wearing it frequently when he was a child, so it brings him an sort of comfort, even if it stays tucked away in a drawer most of the time.

9. Does your OC have good or bad posture?

His posture is surprisingly good, something he can probably attribute to his time spent around the Lestranges, as Veronika was often reminding him to sit up straight.

14. Does your OC get excited when they get mail?

Nope, not really. He usually assumes it’s work related.

18. Does your OC fold their clothes, hang them up, or just leave them in the basket/dryer?

It may take him a day or two before they make it out of the basket if he’s busy, but everything has a place to be neatly folded and put away.

1. Does your character have siblings or family members in their age group? Which one are they closest with?

He has a few cousins of his mother’s side, though he’s not close with any of them now. However, as a child he was very close to Milena, who a mere six months his senior. 

5. On an average day, what can be found in your character’s pockets?

His wand, a small amount of coin, his keys, and a knife – just in case.

29. What did your character dream of being or doing as a child? Did that dream come true?

After completing his first year, Walden was fiercely determined to do something with Herbology – even scored towards the top of the class upon taking his OWLs. As graduation grew closer, he even went as far as sending in applications for jobs with in the field. However, though his expulsion had been brief it was enough to make most places reluctant to give him a chance. So, while that didn’t necessarily come to pass, he’s not unhappy with the turns his life took.

40. How does your character treat people in service jobs?

No different than he treats most anyone else. While his interactions are often kept to a minimum, Walden isn’t unnecessarily rude or unpleasant.  He grew up in a pureblood home that wasn’t necessarily well off, and for most of his life Walden’s father worked different shop jobs. So, to him, it’s just another thing people do to make it day to day. And more often than not, he’s actually  a pretty decent tipper if the occasion calls for such.

4. Has your character ever witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? If so, does anyone else know?

Not really. Walden has been through and done several things that have fundamentally changed him, but there’s never really been anything he’s simply witnessed that have struck him deep enough to resonate like that.

Faces.

34. Is your character more likely to keep trying a solution/method that didn’t work the first time, or immediately move on to a different solution/method?

Move on to a different method. Though if the next method doesn’t work he’s likely to go back to the first one, just in case.

20. In what ways does your character compare themselves to others? Do they do this for the sake of self-validation, or self-criticism?

Walden usually compares himself to others as a method of self-validation, though it doesn’t happen as often as it used to. Generally it’s his way to counteract his father’s comparisons to other purebloods his age. Though, there have been times (though very few and far between) where he’s been down enough to compare himself to blood traitors. Wondering if he’d have been happier if he didn’t have expectations to meet.

Rabastan. Pushing his luck probably. For a guy who doesn’t talk much, he really doesn’t know when to shut up. Or just the whole not talking much thing. Do those count?

16. A strange talent of your OC?

Walden speaks fluent Bulgarian. Something his mother often spoke around the house, as she was more comfortable in her native tongue and his father had learned it to help accommodate her. After her death, his father kept it up so Walden wouldn’t lose it. Convinced one day it might come in handy.
