Today's task: scout locations for some time lapse photography. I stopped off at Macquarie Lighthouse which was the first lighthouse built in Australia 🇦🇺 and gets its name from Governor Lachlan Macquarie. It was first lit on the 30th November 1818 and was visible up to 25 nautical miles (46km). The lighthouse you see here is the second version completed in 1881 and was built 4m away from the original lighthouse.
