Blunt-nosed Viper - Macrovipera lebetina
Macrovipera represents a genus of terrestrial and oviparous venomous vipers that inhabit the semideserts and steppes of North Africa, the Near and Middle East, and the Milos Archipelago in the Aegean Sea.
Macrovipera lebetina (Viperidae), also commonly referred to as Levantine Viper, is a large (reaching about 2 m in length) species found in dry, rocky, mountainous areas. It is one of the most widespread vipers of Asia and the Middle East.
