I had an amazing birthday today.🎈🥰
I had an amazing birthday today and I really wasn't expecting that to be the case. I thought I'd be just like any other day and I wasn't even able to eat out this year (everyone in the family usually gets a birthday meal but my grandma got a meal on Mother's Day so we didn't have enough money) so my expectations were low. But we had a roast dinner that was actually really delicious and my uncle bought me a carrot cake so that was nice. And my a ton of my friends sent me birthday wishes and I got to have a fun time talking to pals all day. The morning of my birthday (10pm the night before to 6:30am the night of), I had an absolute blast playing games and talking on a call with my friends for hourss. It was a great day filled with yummy food and amazing company. I didn't do much at all but it was one of the happiest days I've had in a while.
My grandma was being shitty to me in the morning but that didn't even matter. I took a nap and woke up to have the best of times with so many of my pals. It feels weird being 22 because I'm still not adjusted to the fact that I'm in my 20s and stuck inside such a shitty situation but nothing could keep me down today. I love my friends so much. I'm even using this positive energy to deep clean the house for the first time in a while.
