Last April Fool’s Day, we actually released a record (as opposed to this year, where we actually didn’t). To mark the occasion, here’s a short little making-of thing. This was originally exclusive to our Kickstarter backers, but… you know, hey, April Fool’s, amirite?
This record was difficult and easy and fun and traumatic and hilarious and totally worth working on with people I love. I dig music.

PS: This iteration of Mad Oak no longer exists, either — they moved down the street and just got permits to build something truly amazing — so it’s nice to take a look at the ol’ place again.
