Several folks asked so here is a brief explanation. I fused larger strips (think 2.5”wide) to Steam-a-Seam2, then organically cut those into 1/4-1/2” width by 3” pieces. I organized by color family. I used a Goddess Pr asking appliqué sheet to see the fish shape underneath it. I peeled the paper backing off each strip as I built my fish on the sheet. Once I was happy with the placement I fused all the pieces together. I let the fish cool then carefully peeled it off the sheet. I built all 6 fish this way. I then placed each fish on the pieced background I made and once happy with the placement fused it to the background. This pile of fabric strips (1/4-1/2” x 3”) turned into these
