“ of course i merely came because i wished to see you, mother, what else would i be here for? ” it was not a lie, for elisabeth did frequently seek out her parents just for the sake of it, rarely having an ulterior motive other then wishing for some affection. that said, it now happened to coincide with her lessons, which she had escaped rather quickly despite her tutor’s many protests and it was one of the few instances where she abused her own status. “ ... and maybe i had lessons with mary. which i did not like. ” it was not that elisabeth particularly disliked the scottish princess, she felt not much regarding the girl at all, but it was exhausting to have to share lessons and her tutors fawn all over her whilst telling her mary was someone she should strive to be like. especially since they were a few years apart.

Guy was never historically good with kids. He had very little patience for dealing with them but when confronted the realization that he had to be present and accounted for when it came to her children he found himself surprisingly good at it. He had a very no nonsense approach to children that they seem to appreciate and in a worse case scenario... at 6′2 he is a human jungle gym. To his own surprise, he found himself becoming very protective of her children - to the point where he would have laid down his own life for them.

she’d want to believe so bad that it’s catelyn, that her mom is not gone. and then as she comes closer and sees her she’s scared and she’d just burst into tears. but then she’s filled with such pity because she loves her mom and it’s not quite her mom and her mom would hate this. and in the middle of all that she’s afraid that her mom being like that is her fault, that she somehow messed up and that’s the result cause she’s still a traitor and wow, would her mom hate her for not being brave enough and renouncing robb.

sansa doesn’t know what to do. she wants to make it stop but she doesn’t know how, she wants to hug her and turn her back to the mom who used to brush her hair when she was sad but she’s not a little girl who believes that’s possible and if stoneheart is angry and tries to kill her, I don’t think sansa has the energy to fight her, she’d probably just remind her that she loves her cause she looks like she needs love and let herself go. she can’t kill her and she can’t leave her so she’s just a sad baby standing there crying and wishing that she could do literally anything…

He knew better than to tease when his mother was so clearly upset, but the whole ordeal seemed ridiculous. 

“Why all this fuss? All of France knows I’m gay. They’ve seen me kissing some man or another since I was 15. I’ve led the pride parade for God’s sake! But now that I’m king, I’m expected to hide in the closet? Will my people love me more for feeding them what is clearly a lie?
