We had an unexpectedly and particularly rough time getting back home which included a lay over in Copenhagen. We originally had a flight from Rome to Oslo, which was delayed and caused us to miss our connecting flight from Oslo to Los Angeles. We then had to sleep at the Oslo airport until 7 AM the next day, where we would fly from Oslo to Copenhagen and take the flight back to Los Angeles from there. We may look fresh as daisies here but we hadn’t been feeling that way.

We decided to make lemonade from lemons by exploring Copenhagen and have a lovely brunch at Mad & Kaffe. We got to walk  through Copenhagen and took in a feel of the city. In the short time that we were there, we walked the streets and ate the food and liked the atmosphere. 

We may also want to plan a trip back here some day. 

And just like that, it was time to head to the airport for our 10 hour flight back to Los Angeles.
