(madaura)
Hey~ I was rereading magi previous chapters and I reached Maader's arc. Considering what we know from SnB, do you think Sinbad knew about her whereabouts? I guess even if he didn't knew where she was hiding, it must be a shock once he found out. Also I find it funny that the same thing happened with her "children", as in when Olba and the others appeared in Sindria I can picture Ja'far being like "ffs can't you fuckers take responsibility for your adopted kids" even if he takes care of them <3
It’s been a long time since I’ve read the Madaura arc but I doubt he knew her exact whereabouts or details on how she was using kids to do her stuff because otherwise he would have dealt with her a long time ago. I also believe that he would be in shock once he found out and I want to think that he would also be grateful to Hakuryuu for finally cutting that evil lady’s head off (same goes for Masrur’s feelings).
Olba and the rest of the kids were actually lucky to appear in Sindria. Because not only the country is a shelter for all the people who don’t have anywhere else to go but also given Sinbad’s history with Madaura I’m sure he did everything he could to help these kids who were also victims of that evil witch. And of course having Ja’far acting like everyone’s mom is always a plus benefit ;)
Watching Madaura losing her self control after realizing that she had been tricked was the most satisfying thing:
And then, we got Rurumu’s calm expression which made things even more enjoyable:
Rurumu really is an absolute goddess (I think I’ve said that at least 100 times already but it’s the absolute truth).
“Suspension of disbelief” they said... Apuleius, “The Golden Asse” I, 13 Ad haec Meroe - sic enim reapse nomen eius tunc fabulis Socratis convenire sentiebam -: “Immo” ait “supersit hic saltem qui miselli huius corpus parvo contumulet humo,” et capite Socratis in alterum dimoto latus per iugulum sinistrum capulo tenus gladium totum ei demergit et sanguinis eruptionem utriculo admoto excipit diligenter, ut nulla stilla compareret usquam. Haec ego meis oculis aspexi. Nam etiam, ne quid demutaret, credo, a victimae religione, immissa dextera per vulnus illud ad viscera penitus cor miseri contubernalis mei Meroe bona scrutata protulit, cum ille impetu teli praesecata gula vocem immo stridorem incertum per vulnus effunderet et spiritum rebulliret. Quod vulnus, qua maxime patebat, spongia offulciens Panthia: “Heus tu” inquit “spongia, cave in mari nata per fluvium transeas.” His editis abeunt remoto grabattulo varicus super faciem meam residentes vesicam exonerant, quoad me urinae spurcissimae madore perluerent.
