New oc’s because I am a godless heathen who cannot be stopped. 

 Maddax is considered the “brains” of a group investigating and trying to put a stop to human experiments of questionable ethics. He’s incredibly smart and good with technology, and though he puts up a bored and unimpressed front, he doesn’t handle pain very well. He has a tendency to talk a lot, especially when he’s nervous, and people sometimes find him frustrating to be around as he doesn’t have the most welcoming personality. 

 Valerie is a scientist, and to her people only exist to be learned from. She has no problem torturing and mutilating people in the name of science, and sometimes she even seems to enjoy causing people pain. The group Maddax belongs to has been irritating her for some time, however due to some connections, she knows of Maddax and has taken an interest in him. 

 Their story takes place in an unnamed year in the future, so lots of high tech and dystopian elements because that’s always fun. More characters will be added over time, but these two are particularly important. i’ll probably start posting about them super late tonight or sometime tomorrow.

#65: Maddax- Evolves from Staddax when traded while holding a metal coat. When Staddax are carried far away from their farm lives and exposed to modern technology, they evolve into Maddax. Maddax shies away from dirt, mud, and water, afraid of rusting or tarnishing its chrome exterior. Maddax’s cry sounds echoey and muffled, leading scientists to ponder whether the metal outside of this Pokémon is its real form or just a type of fused armor. Using the floating metal filaments around its satellite-like horns, Maddax can receive and send messages more efficiently than even mobile phones. This makes them invaluable in areas such as the military or other high-stakes situations. The sharp metals coiling around Maddax’s tail can slice through thick metal sheets with ease. (Name from “metal” and “addax”, a type of antelope)
