are we spoiler-ing MADDER! ? i am! just my thoughts on new music if anyone cares : )
i got the cd because a) it was cheapest b) i wanted to listen to it via my laptop because that is where i spend 90% of my day. i will not be sharing the tracks with anyone, soz! i'm sure someone will at some point lol...but i just really loved the experience of coming home from the show already missing them and then having the new music to look forward to instead!
ngl when Porcupine came out, i think it may have became my new favorite song of the MAD! universe. during the show last night, Russ introduced a song by saying "a few weeks ago we released..." and i really thought they were about to play it LOL. alas it was just a song from MAD! that came out a few months ago.
Fantasize is a chill one, the lyrics are unfortunately relatable, i wasn't into it much first listen, but it's def growing on me. probably my least favorite but i still like it!
the second Mess Up started my jaw dropped and i was just sitting there with my mouth open as it just got better and better. hands down my favorite song of the MAD! era. lowwwwkey gives me Giddy Giddy (my fave song on Hippo lol) vibes...maybe. just. so FUN.
i was unsure about They the first time i listened, but it has come to be my second fave off MADDER!, the vocals towards the end are so unique. just a really cool vibe. also Philly mention
