Did Maddie and Ivy ever thought about making a tadpole to round up the fankids?

They did, especially after learning about their sisters-in-law were planning but factors left them to shelf the idea for now. They still have the option but when things seem right, if they do (plus when they initially discussed it, they couldn’t decide on a name for their kid. They bring up new possible names when they have a moment but so far nothing clicks).
