so, her store is definitely has a more rustic theme to it, than the aura she gives up. when leo gave it to her, there wasn’t much to work with, so she had to make work what she had. there’s definitely brick showing in her store, as well as unconventional uses of random things to display clothes. amelia makes it work, though, because she’s a creative girl. she might as well make use out of her time in maddox.

being a very european woman -- amelia is very much a participant and immersed in their lifestyle and culture, even if she is in a small american town for the time being. it sounds very cliché, she’s aware; but some of her favorite things to do is: listen to classical music, drink wine, and people ( ?? a relative term for the blonde ) watch in small cafés. sometimes she’ll pick up a book or a pencil, and read and draw rather than socialize.

“If I were to die tomorrow, my last words would be to tell my family I love them.”

“Trying to figure out the answer to this supernatural epidemic -- how to figure out a way to wipe them out all together. It’s been the only thing keeping me up at night for years now.”

“Creation, I’d say. It’s those that aren’t human that bring destruction. We just try to clean up the messes they leave behind.”

no specific book; but just the idea of having somewhere to escape, that won’t lose battery nor energy, is nice.

yes, it’s something i rather do. it’s probably very tiresome believing the opposite.

the romantic in me wants to say love, so i’m going to have to go with that. it’s easier to live without money, than without love.

3: If you could fix one world problem, what would it be? Why?
Vampires. They have no respect for human life. They kill and they take as much as they want with disregard. They are bloodthirsty killers. Literally. Lydia will be glad to fix that problem any day.

2: What makes you really angry? Be honest.
Vampires. People who don’t respect other people. People getting in the way of doing her job. Ahem, Aaron. Failing. Bullies. And men who have no respect for women.
11: What’s the thing you regret the most?
Failing the first time she went out to hunt. It still weighs heavily on her mind, chewing away at her very ability to perform. It makes her a better hunter but it also makes her weak, makes her second guess herself.
15: If you could go back into the past, what would you change?
She would try and save Sarah, or at least, make sure that she came back to the orphanage alive. Perhaps that would change things in her future, she probably wouldn’t be the hunter she is today but it would be worth it. Lydia would not have failed her first hunt.
25: What have you given up on?
Feelings. They’re useless and they only interfere in her becoming a great hunter. It makes a hunter weak and unfocused. She doesn’t need anyone in her life but her fellow hunters and even then, Lydia is independent beyond measure. She’s not met anyone to make her feel enough to not give it up.
30: Do we have a soul?
Yes. And when we die, our souls go to heaven. That’s what she’s been raised to believe. Except vampires, of course.

7. Would you sacrifice your life for a stranger?
If it was on purpose, Lydia would not sacrifice her life for a stranger. She sees no point in it, especially since there is no emotional connection. But, being a hunter, her life is on the line every day and if she were to lose her life while hunting a vampire, then, that’s part and parcel of her job.
17: Do you believe there is good in everybody?
No. She has seen some vampires do the most heinous of things. But she believes that everyone has the potential to become something more.
27: What defines good and evil?
Lydia has a very clear line between what is good and evil. A person who is good values life, is kind, is caring and goes out of their way to help others. A person who is evil is the exact opposite with no care for life and kills and takes greedily.
37: What do a lot of parents do that screw up their children?
Honestly, Lydia wouldn’t know. She is an orphan. Let them cry annoyingly in public, perhaps?
