‘Unsinkable’ Molly Brown

Mrs Margaret Brown (Molly Brown) was a 1st class passenger on Titanic. She got her ‘unsinkable’ Title due to her surviving Titanic, evacuating all women and children she could see or hear and ordering lifeboat directors to go back and save those left behind in the water.

After Titanic's sinking Molly and other survivors returned to land via the Carpathia ship. She then began to organize a relief system for those traumatized and poverty-stricken survivors who became destituted.

She tirelessly established the Survivors Committee which gave her name the spotlight and fame she still has to this day.

Molly brown was a major womans rights activist and the first women to ever run for congress (1914)

Is anybody...there?

It's been a while. I have been lurking but never fully active. I just fell out of touch, life happened, yadda yadda yadda. I got busy and then gradually stopped posting and engaging.

But mostly I kept telling myself: 'the timing is not right for you to go back to tumblr.'

And yet I kept missing this place (hence the lurking), with a huge yearning in my heart to return. So then I told myself: the timing is NEVER going to feel right.

So here I am. Back again. Older, wiser (maybe? idk lol), definitely more tired than before with zero energy for drama.

Back to the dumpster fire called tumblr dot com. I'll try to be more active here and on my writing blog.

we really are the marvel generation

I know it’s been said before, but I want to say it again.

The MCU, this huge, beautiful franchise that we’ve loved for the past 11 years, is fanfiction.

At it’s core, the MCU is just a bunch of nerds like you and me who wanted to take something that they grew up with, something that meant something to them, something that they probably cared way too much about, and keep it alive.

Every stack of scripts they’ve written, every scene that’s been directed, every single ad-lib... it’s canon because they made it canon.

The Marvel that we know exists because, once upon a time, Stan Lee, Steve Ditko, and Jack Kirby, among others, had an idea, to bring together a group of remarkable people, to see if they could become something more.

Those remarkable people? They’re us, just as much as the superheroes we fell in love with.

Because with each new universe, with each reincarnation of the same hero, the Marvel Universe evolves. Every fic, every headcanon, every piece of fanart adds to this universe--and it truly is that, a universe. It’s a universe that we can’t even begin to see the end of. It’s a universe that is going to look a little bit different to me than it might for you or the next person or the person after that.

So just remember, when things don’t turn out the way you want them to, you can change it, you can. Because this universe belongs to you just as much as it belongs to the Russo’s or Stan Lee or anyone else.

So write your OOC fics. Make some kickass art. Keep this universe alive in whatever way feels right to you.

Marvel isn’t just comics, it isn’t just films--it’s a reflection of everyone who invested a little piece of their heart into this. It’s a group of remarkable people, coming together and becoming something more. It’s all of us.

One thing I don't understand, like at all, about some kh fans is a lot of them have like, visceral haterd for Z*myx and it's shippers and I can't????? Figure out why?????

Like,,, it's fine,,,, I literally can't think of a less problematic ship in the series? There's absolutely no reason I can think of for someone to hate this ship the way I see some people do.

It's 100000% okay to not like it, I can totally see why anyone wouldn't like it, but what about this ship prompts people to hate it and it's shippers so much? Idk, I'm just sick of ship wars.
