So they fought their final, summer-killing battle just the three of them, without Tai, and that's for sure for sure why he hates Qrow now, right??? For keeping that from him???
Let's talk about Tricky (Maddy posting about Tricky? Noooo) and how the fandom perceives him because I've really been wanting to talk about it.
Now. I get overprotective of characters I really care about so this will probably sound really really autistic. Because I am autistic. Just warning you.
And I would like to preface that this is about CANON Madness Combat and the things he's done in noncanon incidents will not be considered.
OK let's move on
Tricky has such an eccentric, interesting and fun personality to explore. The circumstances he's been put in created a character that I don't think is quite exactly like any other.
Which is why it's sometimes sad to see a lot of people treating him like he's one dimensional.
That he's unfeeling and evil and just enjoys killing.
And if you think that, I have to ask,
Have you seen Madness Combat?
I can think of many times Tricky has been shown to be more than just an "evil unfeeling" killer clown. I've seen him have fun, I've seen him express his emotions, including his anger and sadness (yes, sadness) and i've seen him be merciful. Hell, he spared Sanford and Deimos when he found out they weren't nexus core or mercs:
Tricky enjoys fighting, but he isn't a mindless killing machine. I haven't even really seen him being violent towards anyone but Hank, Jeb, Sanford or the aahw. He doesn't murder noncombatents (on purpose) so sometimes I have no idea where people get the impression that he kills everything in his path.
A lot of Tricky's actions in Madness Combat I think are ruled by his anger and undying hatred for Hank, for good reason I think. Clown was hired to protect the Sheriff and he died two, no three times at his hands. And he tried to kill clown while he was just having a fun time DJing and doin' nothin' harmful. I'd be pretty angry, too.
At this point you might be asking "but Maddy, hasn't Mr. Krinkels stated that Tricky is a psychopath?" Yes he has, and I think he probably is as well. Psychopathy is a lot different from what a lot of people think because of popularized media and such. Not all, not many psychopaths are completely unfeeling homicidal criminals. They're real people. My mothers boyfriend I grew up with was a psychopath. He cared about my brother and I so much. He was fun to hang around with and while he had problems, he was definitely capable of strong emotions. Tricky reminds me of him, actually, which might be one of the reasons I like clown so much.
I think clown would be a fun friend like he was.
I could go on and on about this but I think you get my point. Tricky is rad as hell and he deserves to be seen as something more than an unfeeling killing machine. And yknow i could be completely wrong! I didn't create Tricky. Please keep that in mind; you don't have to agree with me.
Ok I’m gonna be completely honest vanilliam is a crack ship BUT it is not really a harmful ship, it’s not peadophilic, it’s not incest, and if it’s being done in a non abusive way and not glorifying Stockholm syndrome I don’t see the problem. I don’t like the ship it’s just not my thing but I’m not gonna harass other fnaf fans for liking it and idk why antis are freaking out over it
In my hc I view glitchtrap and vanny as a Harley quinn and joker type situation without the romance part and that’s why I don’t ship it but I know my headcanons/theory do not = canon and we know absolutely nothing about glitchtrap and vannys partnership yet so until we actually do I have no problem whatsoever with people that ship vanilliam in a non toxic way
And I definitely don’t think people should be harassed for shipping it
